Archie hands work to six other runners
Pick a runner to watch the steps it runs and what it hands to the next one.
What each runner does
Archie is your chief of staff and leads the other six runners. Open the app and Archie shows what needs you today, what is due and which runner or teammate has it. Ask about whatever you are looking at, and Archie answers from your records. Before a meeting, Archie preps you from the client's record; after it, the follow-up is drafted for you. Any request you make goes to the runner who owns that part of the business.
Starter Playbook: a weekday morning brief.
Meet Archie →Thalia gets you found. Thalia helps shape your offer, drafts posts and newsletters from your meeting notes and voice notes, keeps your campaigns in one place, and runs the web forms that turn a visitor into a lead. Every new lead goes straight to Flynn. Nothing is published until you press Publish.
Starter Playbook: a Monday content draft from the week's notes.
Meet Thalia →Flynn takes a lead to a signature. Flynn qualifies each new lead, keeps the pipeline moving, books the call from your page, prepares the proposal from the deal and drafts every follow-up for you to send. When the deal is ready for an agreement, Flynn hands its details to Clark.
Starter Playbooks: qualify a new lead, and draft a follow-up.
Meet Flynn →Clark gets the deal on paper. Agreements are filled from your templates and the deal, sent for e-signature when you say so, and tracked until everyone has signed. If one sits unsigned for three days, Clark drafts the nudge. Clark also keeps your policies and the compliance dates you enter. Clark is not a lawyer and will tell you when to call one.
Starter Playbook: a follow-up drafted when an agreement is still unsigned three days after sending.
Meet Clark →Tess runs the work for each client after they sign. The engagement starts from the signed agreement with the contact carried over, the client gets a portal, and the deliverables and meetings stay together on the client's record. If your firm keeps books for its clients, Tess runs those too, with 14 finance procedures from bank reconciliation to month-end close. When the work is ready to bill, Tess hands it to Cora.
Starter Playbook: a client books health check.
Meet Tess →Cora looks after your own money. Invoices are filled from your client work, bank lines are coded and matched for you to approve, and your cash, expenses and books sit in one view. When an invoice goes past due, Cora drafts the reminder. Bank feeds and online payment work once your bank and payment accounts are connected.
Starter Playbook: a reminder drafted when an invoice is three days past due.
Meet Cora →Mason keeps the business running behind all of it. Your procedures live in the Knowledge Base, your tools connect in one place, and the work you repeat becomes Playbooks that start on their own and log every run. Each Friday, Mason can write a review of the business's week.
Starter Playbook: a Friday weekly review of the business.
Meet Mason →How a client moves from runner to runner
Someone books a time on your page, and a lead and a meeting are waiting for you. Flynn prepares the deal, and Clark fills the agreement from your template with the client's details. You send it, they sign, and Tess starts the engagement with the contact and the signed agreement carried over. When the work is done, Cora fills the invoice from it and you send it. Nothing gets typed twice.
Ask once, or let it run on its own
Ask a runner for something in plain words and it uses one of its skills: draft this follow-up, match these bank lines, summarize this client before my call. You see the result before anything goes out.
A Playbook is work a runner does on its own, your way: what it makes, how it makes it and when it starts. It can start on an event, like a deal changing stage or an invoice going past due, or on a schedule. It can follow a written procedure from your Knowledge Base, and it stops at any approval step you add. Every runner arrives with starter Playbooks, switched off until you turn them on.
Each time a Playbook runs, the log shows what started it, each step, what it produced and anything it waited on you for.
Questions about the runners
Are the runners people?
No. Runners are AI agents inside Torchrunner. A teammate is a person in your workspace.
Do runners act without me?
Only through Playbooks you switch on. Every run is logged. Agreements and invoices go out when you send them, and a Playbook can stop at an approval step you add.
Can I add my own runner?
Not today. You can add skills and Playbooks to the seven runners.
Will you build me a custom app?
No. Your business runs on shared records, so leads, agreements, clients and books can stay connected in one workspace.
Can I add custom fields?
Yes. Add custom fields to supported records. Runners can use them in triggers, conditions and update steps, depending on the field type.
Where do my people fit?
Teammates are people who work beside the runners.
What does my client see?
Set up the client portal and choose what to share with each client.
